Sleep Releasing First New Song In 18 Years

The last time Sleep released new music, you were probably still rolling around in your own feces, waiting for teeth to come in.

Let’s hope they don’t wait another 18 years to issue a new tune.

My math could be wrong, but I’m fairly confident I did it right.

See, what you do is you figure out what year it currently is. Now is 2014. Sleep’s album came out in 1996. Minus 10 years from 2014, and that’s 2004. Then you minus four more years to get to 2000, and another four to get to 1996.

Eighteen years, folks.

At the end of this post there’s a stream of a song that is the first Sleep music to be issues since Dopesmoker dropped.

The song is called “The Clarity,” and will be released this coming Monday for free as part of Adult Swim Singles series.
